About me....  
       Hi.  I'm a DONA certified birth doula serving families in Silverton and Salem, Oregon. I've been a doula for over 13 years and have had the privilege of attending
hundreds of births.  In addition to being a doula, I'm a wife, mom, grandma, gardener, traveler, writer, cat lover, and childbirth educator. 
       I received my initial doula training in 1996, with Penny Simkin as my trainer. Since then I've attended many conferences and additional trainings. I received my ICEA certification as a childbirth educator in 1997.
